Hello, I'm Tritnew and welcome to the official Dark Alley Echos forums! I got a few rules here that I think would benefit on keeping the forums tidy.
-You can discuss other stuff, but this forum is mainly for the project and to discuss it, which is why I made The World forums.
-Contructive Criticism of my work is all fine, you can be a dick if you like. Just don't go all out to say "keel urself lol", that's just WAY too wrong.
-I guess you can shitpost, just don't do it to the point where it's incredibly annoying.
-Just enjoy yourself in this part of the forum!
I hope you enjoy your stay here! Now I wanna discuss something else; Dark Alley Echos.
The history of it, is that I was trying to come up with something with a little inspiration from my favorite band Nine Inch Nails, something with a mix of Pink Floyd. But entirely it's own style. I tried coming up with a name, I only found songs with this name, but NOT a band.
And thus, Dark Alley Echos began... Almost. It's just one person, and it's me. In the future I do wanna see if anyone would be interested in joining in, but I'm afraid it'll be me till there's someone who's willing to join.
It started out by me making an experimental album, called "The Nicest Parts of Hell". I got a trial for a early version of Ableton and I just worked on it for two weeks. Though, that album sadly failed and turned out to disappoint me, with only two worthy tracks that I made. Both, called "Well of Souls" and "Where Our Flesh Go to Rot".
Edgy, right? Again, this was EXPERIMENTAL. Anyways, moving on.
I decided to experiment further with Ableton and made a Year Zero remix album called "Zero-Gen-Ten", I haven't put that album out yet either.
So, you're probably asking: "Tritnew, what's the future for Dark Alley Echos?".
Simple, I'll try to do everything on my own till someone's interested in joining in. It'll just be a one-man band.
Anyways, I think that'll end the thread now. Again, enjoy your stay here.
